Looking at buying one need to know if they have any problems I need to know about. Or are their any other units I should consider buying.

The real issue is if you can actually get one. They are going very fast, so if you want one, I would move on it pronto! As far as I know, there are no obvious systemic problems with the EH75. Localized issues with the TVGOS seems to be the major complaint.

Placed an order (2-28-07) from BUYDIG.com for a Panasonic DMR-EH75VS for $418 which includes shipping and tax. Seems to be a good price.

Received unit 3-3-07, everything works as expected.

Just saw J&R (www.jr.com) has the EH75 open box for sale at $299 + s/h. They also take Google Checkout so you could save $10 by opening a new account.

I have one of these I bought from J&R a couple of months ago, also open box, for this price. Looks like new and works great.

I've had mine a few months and the only prob I've had is getting the TVGOS to work. I finally gave up on it and am doing manual recordings instead. Other than that, I love it!

I bought one about a month ago.. really like it.. TV programing is awesome.. I run it with a DVR..

it has shut off on it's own at least twice now, maybe three times.. I'm not sure why or what casued it.. I will start monitoring it more closely and see if it will need to be sent in for repair..

you need to study the manual on this one..

editing out comercials and unwanted footage is a piece of cake...
