Folks,

Picked up a cheap Mits 2000 a few days ago. Linked it (firewire) to my JVC 3000 units with no problems.

However, when I link to my JVC 5U....it is fine for about 20-30 minutes...then it loses the link momentarily ( on the 5U end) and reconnects.

Any idea how to eliminate the 5U firewire dropout?? Like I said...no problems with the 3000 units. I recall reading something about this...but couldn't find anything in the archives.

Any suggestions are appreciated
