hi everyone, i just purchased a tevion dvd recorder it records in both disc formats single layer.it plays wma,dvr-r/rw dvd+r/rw,svcd,vcd,mp3,jpeg, displays cds and digital albums.,the unit is $149.00aus, $110us or 48 euro etc. the dvd is region 0 out of the box it records upto 6.5 hours in the highest record option, more info can be seen . :) ,the only setting i cant find is the macrovision off code to turn off macrovision during recording of alot of catv and paytv it comes alot macrovision especially in the newer movies etc . :)if anyone can help me id apreciate it .thanks in advance hamguy1 nsw australia

I have just bought one too. I have hooked it up to my Topfield TF6000PVRt and it records brilliantly. I can't help you with your problem, but I am having some problems with audio. Do you know how the 5.1 channel audio works. A lot of my commercial DVDs won't play the English channel- will play other languages. Any ideas.
