INTELIX UPDATES BROADBAND VIDEO BALUN
Middleton, WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video equipment and software, recently announced the release of the RF-F, a broadband video over Cat 5 balun which will replace Intelix’s current VB balun February 1, 2007.
“We are extremely excited to introduce the RF-F broadband video balun,” states Cameron Smith, Intelix Sales and Marketing Manager, “The RF-F provides greater bandwidth, better video quality, and is almost 50% less expensive than our previous model.”
The Intelix RF-F transmits broadband video (cable TV channels 2-150; VHF channels 2-13) up to 330 feet over standard unshielded twisted pair cabling such as Cat 5 or Cat 5e. Doing so, the RF-F supports broadband (RF) signals up to 900 MHz.
To use, simply connect one RF-F broadband video balun to your source device, connect standard unshielded twisted pair cabling, and connect a second RF-F balun to the destination device. The RF-F does not require a secondary power supply and features a male F connector and RJ45 connector.
The RF-F is ideal for private RF networks, hotels and other hospitality venues, apartments and condominiums, schools and universities, and corporate audio-visual and residential applications.
Retail price for the RF-F is $80.95.
Intelix offers the broadest line of baluns in the professional AV marketplace, including solutions for audio, multiple formats of video, VGA, DVI, HDMI, USB, and PS2. In addition to baluns, Intelix manufactures an extensive line of serial controlled mic/line, matrix, room-combine, and automatic mixers.
