I think one of my problems I have to much noise from electricity lines, internet etc. Is there a part that I could get or something that I can eliminate some of the noise? I can get HD great 30-40 miles from the tower but about 68-70 is pretty hard even with my outdoor antenna.

Noise should not really effect HD radio. Unless the noise itself is preventing you from receiving any signal at all. The receiver only accepts ones and zeros, it disregards all noise in the HD mode. That is the main reason for digital signals, the receiver is looking for a digital stream of ones and zeros.

Noise is disregarded. The receiver either gets it or not. There is no such thing as a weak noisy signal, as with analog regular FM radio. Your problem is probably antenna height, or terrain. As long as there is a reasonably clear path between you and the signal source, you should be good for at least 60 miles with FM. A good gauge is your TV signal. If you can receive signals from VHF television stations (Channels 2-13) with an antenna in this range, you should also receive radio. Their frequencies are in the same range.
