Hey all.

I have a Sony KP-51HW40 RP CRT TV that I have had for about 6 years now.

It has been a really good TV but I think maybe the lamp is on the way out.

I have two vertical bars on the sides of the screen (one on either side) where the 4:3 picture ends and the 16:9 begins.

This is very pronounced when in HD mode and using the "Full" setting.

Do I need a new lamp or are my settings bad?

If so, can anybody tell me the part # for the lamp, I can't for the life of me find it in the manual anywhere, neither can I find out how to replace it, any ideas or pointers?
