I'm about to connect a DVP-NS75H to a Sony XBR3 (video) and a Sherwood Newcastle R-771 (audio).
Should I use component video cables and a coaxial audio cable, or should I use HDMI for the video?
If I use HDMI for the video, do I have to tell the DVD player 1) not to send audio through the HDMI and/or 2) to send audio through the coaxial? Or will it simply send the audio automatically through both without any ill effects? (...in which case I can just leave the HDMI-provided volume down on the TV?)
Also, if you care to weigh in: is there any good reason to choose the Sony DVP-NS975V over the DVP-NS75H?
