DMR-ES15 Display issue

I have a 2 week old unit and the display has suddenly got these vertical lines going half way up the display. You can still just see the channel it's on or the time if you look closely and it still works.
Does anyone know how to get rid of these lines?

I would consider returning the unit to the store where you got it and get another one. It's too new to start dealing with warantee service, so I don't think you want to go that route.
