i have a sammy 1000, with the latest us firmware, i tried to play the movie "RV" yesterday, i bought it from the UK, and on the back of the box it says all regions "a,b,c"...BUT it won't play, all i get is a screen telling me that the region is not right.... weird, i thought all regions means all region, or am i doing anything wrong...

Even though the UK version of RV is marked all regions it is actually coded region "B". This is a mistake on Sony's part.

All the other UK discs that have the all region symbols are fine.

ok thanks, hopefully Casion Royal is "REALLY" codefree...it was weird with my player anyway, i have a german bd-p1000, it played region "A" marked sony blu ray's with no problem, the movie SWAT which was region "B" but lionsgate which have no region "a,b,c" coding didn't work... my solution: i just put the us firmware on it....
