After reading through the 3930 owners thread I decided to make a new thread about the speaker setup issue hoping it would be easier to find an answer for people who wonder about the same thing. Here's what the problem is:
I connect the 3930 via the 5.1 analogue output to my 5.1 analogue amp to utilize the player's DAC's instead of my amp's. Since the speaker setup is active in the 3930 on the analogue outputs (regardless of "Source Direct" on or off), I wonder what happens to the signal when both the player and the amp is set up with delay times for each speaker? Do we get double the delay or is it only the amp that has the "final word"? Both are active and I can hear differences. Has anyone found out about this?
