7.1 system with dual Subs (had one given to me so I figured I'd use it)

Will connecting one with the in line connections to the fronts and the other with the LFE RCA connection give better results? Or should they both be connected with a RCA splitter? I have very limited knowledge, but thought it might give more flexibility to control the Sub's crossover on one and then let the Reciever deal with the LFE variable? Somebody straighten me out please!

might want to go to the right forum/thread:

Speakers: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=89

or subs: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=113

That depends on whether your receiver does bass management or not, and whether the subwoofers have chaining outputs/inputs or not.

Sorry about the wrong forum, but I like the answers I get here better.

jwatte: Reciever does have bass management capabilites, and sub #2 has parallel hookup capabilities
