The question is, will this be a half rez transfert. Enter The Dragon is terribly bobbed on HD DD and shows staircases everywhere..

Definitely want to buy ETD but i'll wait and see about this whole bobbing issue. If it's the same as the HDDVD version i'll wait till they release it again (we all know they will.....)

I had no problem watching the HD DVD version. It's still FAR better than any SD DVD version.

Same here. Never watched the movie in my lifetime until it came out on HD DVD. Now I love the film.

If Enter the dragon is not bobbed - I'll be buying it. (I'm sure it wont be as Warner has admitted their HD-DVD 1080i master mistake).

I paid $23 Canadian for the HD-DVD version

My advice is to skip Dirty Dozen. Having purchased it for HD DVD it's the only High def disk I've resold on Ebay. Very inconsistent and sometimes just downright poor. It may well be the source but that doesn't help the looks.

Enter the Dragon looks awesome on HD DVD, so I'm sure it'll look great on Blu Ray too (most likely identical). Most notibly the difference in detail between the crappy SD releases. I took screenshot of a random scene awhile ago to show how much better it is than the SD snapper case release.

Just because you sold your copy on EBay doesn't mean it's not a great movie and good transfer for it's age. I wouldn't sell my copy for twice the price I paid.

Same here. I am plenty happy with my HD DVD of The Dirty Dozen. The transfer is actually quite good, and looks significantly better than what SD DVD can offer. And let's not lose sight of the fact that this movie kicks complete and total ass. :)

So how does Enter the Dragon HD compare to the more recent 2-disc S.E SD release?
