I hope I am asking the right question for this? I need to know what Hz to set my sub to on this receiver. It is a 500 watt sub. If I am not mistaken, whatever I set it on my receiver, I must set it equal on my sub, right? Like if it is set to 120 hz my receiver, then set it to 120 on the sub? Anyways, I need to know the proper level to put this on. Thank you very much!

On the back of the Bic there is a switch ( pro-logic or dolby digital)...switch it to dolby digital. This effectively takes the subs crosover out of the equasion which is what you want to do ( good feature)..Then just run your auto eq on the 2807 and it will set the apropiate crossover on all channels including sub. Caveat, after running the 2807 auto eq you may want to change the crossover point to whatever you mains can go down to, or if you have smaller speakers manually set the 2807 to 80 hz for everything ( thx recommended).
Also, although you didnt ask ..you want to set the phase on the Bic ( switch on back )...generally speaking, it should be set at 0 phase if your sub is up front with your mains ..and if the subs at the back of the room set it to 180. You should really play something with bass that your familar with and switch the phase back and forth to get the best/most bass. Note: Do this before running the auto eq. Another thing before running auto eq, set you volume control on the bic to half way.
