Hello. Anyone know the power consumption for the Berkline power recliners? I am looking at the 086 series. Thanks!

I run mine off a 15 amp circuit with no problems. You're not trying to figure out how much you'll be spending on powering these are you?

I have the same question. What is the wattage usage of each chair? Anyone know? I will have 6 chairs. I know each won't be used at the same time. They will be on the same circuit as my projector. The last thing I want to do is trip a breaker when my projector is running.

Maybe Roman can chime in.

No, I'm trying to calculate the load on a 15amp circuit. I am wiring my home theater and want to figure out how many other outlets I can have on the same circuit.

sorry, I don't mean to hijack the thread, but if I have 3 power recliners in a row, do I have 3 power wires coming out of it or they can be 'daisychained' together and with only one wire to power all 3 recliners?

Yes. Each chair has it's own cord.

OK just because I could and for the betterment of mankind I conducted an experiment. I have a Belkin pureAV unit that has an LCD display showing amp draw. I took an extension cord from the unit to a Berkline 099. I pulled the chair up close enough to the unit so that I could see the reading.

At the start position my display reads .8 amps (occasionally falling to .7). Thats for all the wall warts, an OTA HD recorder that keeps two hard drives spinning even when off, and other things.

I took the chair for a dozen cycles of up/down. Consistently the max reading would hit 1.6. So my conclusion is that the chair draws .8(+/- .1) amp.
