I came across a stereo "tweaks" site that had some pretty interesting claims on it on how to make your system sound better by using some strange methods that were mostly DIY. The one that caught my eye was one that said that if you put your sub on a 2" thick concrete patio block or marble that it will in fact, "tighten up the bass". Has anyone on this site tried this? My subs are on carpet (wood,floor joists underneath) and I'm considering trying this inexpensive tweak. Thanks in advance, Scott.
