I was at Best Buy this morning and I noticed that all the HDTVs were playing a HD footage of Dream Theater's Score: 20th Anniversary World Tour Live with the Octavarium Orchestra. It looked good. I'm not a big fan of the band or anything, but I do play guitar and John Petrucci's guitar sounded amazing. Anyways, I think it would be cool to have this concert with a live orchestra with lossless audio.

I would KILL for Score to be released. I was at the show in CT which was 2 or 3 days before Score was filmed.
Yeah, this must come out.
The most disappointing live act I've ever seen was Dream Theater, opening for Joe Satriani in Austin in 2002 I think. Just a muddled mess. Could have been the acoustics at the venue, but I was supremely disappointed, especially considering Satriani kicked extreme amounts of ass. Since then I haven't thought much about them as a live band, but I'd definitely check out a live disk of theirs on HD-DVD.

It's too bad that "Panic Attack" didn't make the cut.

A portion of Score was shown on MHD some time ago. So it's definitely an HD recording. It looked great, MUCH better than the DVD (as it should).
I'd also love to see Rush R30 (also recorded in HD) too!
