I was just wondering if anyone has heard any news about Pan's Labyrinth coming out on Blu-ray?

put me down for 'hope' as well. This was the only film that racked up on Oscars that i didn't get to see yet.

I just got my region 3 Pan's Labyrinth Special Edition dvd in, and I'm loving it. It's an amazing little package. I just wish the extras had english subtitles.


Anyway, watching this version only makes me pray for a HD version.

I've heard so many good things about this one as well... this is one of the few I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing (for the 1st time) in HD. :cool:

It's hard resisting watching movies like this on DVD first and not waiting for it on BD.

Dvd is set for May 15th with Spanish DD 5.1 EX and DTS-ES 6.1, at least according too http://www.davisdvd.com/news/dvd.html

As for Blu-ray, one can only hope. Since New Line Cinema is on the whole Total HD bandwagon, who knows?

Edit: The Korean version is nice, especially the packaging. The picture quality is so so, then again, maybe I am just to used to HD these days

This and Apocalypto are very important releases for me. I hope we do see it on BR.

I don't think New Line will release any HD content until the end of the year at the earliest.

I haven't seen any proof of that. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but I would be surprised if New Line jumped in before October/November.
