Ok,
I've read a bunch of posts and think I will settle on a Hsu sub for my Home Theater/Living room (about 750 sq. ft).
The question is which one? The room will mostly be used for HT but we entertain quite a bit which means surround sound as well as piping out to the deck.
Will the VTF-2 MK 2 suffice?
If you have 750 sq. ft. (with 8' high ceiling) that comes to 6000 cu ft., which
is a huge room. An HSU VTF-3.3 is the subwoofer that HSU recommends. It's
not cheap ($699 plus shipping $75).
You can order the VTF-MK 2 and if it doesn't provide the bass ext and output
ext you can return it and get the VTF-3.3. If you have the budget, the turbo-
charger ($100) is definatly a plus. The turbo IMO really really helps
the sub integrate well with you main speakers....vardo

Go to the Hsu website and send your question directly to Dr. Hsu. In my experience (I have been using Hsu subwoofers for a dozen years or so), he is very responsive and, he's an expert!
I have a 320 sq ft room and asked Dr Hsu what he would recommend. He said the HSU VTF-3.3. It is due to be delivered tomorrow.
