Satellite Receivers that I have found deliver a full 16:9 picture(no cropping on known HD channels such as HDMovieNet, Showtime HD,Discovery HD,etc) for us to record on our DVDRs are:

Now -I want you as members to correct me if wrong. I am wrong a lot. You cannot think and expound in life and not be wrong. Everyone is wrong at times. I merely put this out to see what your experiences are. This is mine. BTW ,Moderators this is topical and relevant to this forum. Connectivity is the keyword today , the lines are blurred and everything is tangential. Everything is and is not peripheral.
