What I am trying to do is setup my gaming system, which is located in my office in our basement, to be able to work with my projector for gaming. What I need to figure out is how can I have Keyboard and Mouse connectivity to the machine from another room without having to run 50 feet of extensions. I also need to figure out if it is possible to have whatever keyboard/mouse combination I use in my theatre not interfere with the ones I use on my desk.

Having the video display on the projector is already done. There are two digital video outputs on my 8800GTS and I have one of them connected to the projector with a long DVI to HDMI cable.

I am dreaming or is this possible?

That might do it. Never tried attaching two keyboards/mice to one PC but I am sure that it can be done with a switch of some sort.

The device in the link might do what you want.

There may be a bluetooth option available as well.
