forgive my ignorance for a sec, this might have been asked already.

Is there such a plate as a circular ceiling receptacle?
Something that can fit on top of an existing octagon ceiling light mount?
I'm having a condo built and would really like to stay front project based.
I'm just having a problem resolving how i'd get power up to my 10' ceiling.
I'd like to use the power that will be there for the scheduled livingroom light as Pj power. Then simply Blank off the light switch to prevent anyone turning off the pj in the middle of a hockey game.

So i was wondering if anyone makes a plate for this.

I need: power.

would be nice: 1.5-2" socket for mounting pj extension tube.
component or HDMI passthroughs for cable management.

this is also for resale. When time comes to resell and the new guy needs a light up there, I figure it could be easily re-installed by replacing the HT plate with a standard lamp and wallswitch.

A plate like this could easily save me from dissecting my pj power cord and "McGuyvering" up a hard connection using wire connectors.

thanks, in advance, for any info you folks may have.

p.s. i see peerless has a new circular plate, but it doesn't incorporate an electrical outlet.

P.P.S. I kinda hope no one is sitting on the patent to this. that would suck if it's been invented and is just sitting there idle.
