I was curious if anyone has used flatwire on a wall and painted over it? I have seen a few websites advertising this as a great alternative to drilling into your wall. Is it very noticeable? I would love to hear opinions from those who have tried this. This would just be for running a couple surrounds up a wall. I don't really want to have to go into the wall if I don't have to.

I just did some remodeling of my living room and used the flat wire for my surrounds. I textured the walls ( over the wire ) and painted. If you really look for it , you can see it. But you have to be looking for it. The wire has an adhesive backing and is very easy to use. I recommend it.
