this looked as good as any place to put this thread but my wife got me a
cambridge 740 because we wanted a small stereo in the bedroom and
space was a big concern after using this unit for 2 months now and for its
size this thing will surprise you.

Cambridge Soundworks makes great table radios. So does Tivoli. Ditto Boston Acoustics. If you really want a "high tech" table radio, check out the models (from Cambridge, Boston Acoustics, Accurian at Radio Shack, Sangean, Polk, etc.) that include "HD Radio"...your local FM and AM stations with NO noise or interference, and even extra channels you can't get on an analog radio...all with no monthly charge...as in FREE (after you pay for the radio).

My father has that same radio. I was contemplating it too. I might end up going with the Polk I-Sonic though.

if your going to spend that kind of money you may want to listen to the new tivoli.
