Ya, I think a lot of stuff has been on the market for a while. Hopefully something new and lower cost... maybe by a new entrant.

The main product that has been announced and we haven't seen yet is the new Lumagen Radience XD processor.

I want to get the Pioneer VSX-84TXSi A/V Receiver but it now looks like there won't be any here again in the U.S. until early May.

They are 7.1 processors with 140 watts per channel. They should sell for about $1,000 once they become available again. They have a lot of good features along with two remotes and a microphone to equalize and balance out your speakers plus creating different sound stages like small jazz club to outdoor auditorium, which is good when just playing music through the system.

The Pioneer VSX-84TXSi only has DCDi technology so its HD deinterlacing capabilities is questionable. Great value though.

Is the Radiance still expected in Q2 '07? And do I understand correctly that it will be future proofed due to modular construction to some degree? Sounds like a winner.
