im simply tring to upmix from the 2 front speakers to all 5! ive tried foobar and matrixmixer but they dont seem to work, maybe i just dont know how to use them!
i just wanna play a cd in my computer and have all the speakers work at the same time. is it really that complicated???
oh i have windows vista premium and im currently using "realtek hd audio manager" and my speakers are logitech brand.
my email is aus199@hotmail.com please feel free
(the upmixing option in windows vista called "speaker fill" will not work because i only have 3 audio plugs directly in the back of my computer (not6) and the other 4 plugged into my subwoofer, i just followed logitech instructions.)
any help greatly appreciated.
n.b.
-5.1 does work with dvds
-foobar works with 4 speakers only, which is better than nothing, also I cannot use windows media player if I want 5.1, because I need to run through foobar and I don’t want that.
-“speaker test” works fine, and Microsoft and Logitech said they cant help me further.
Thanks heaps for any help!
