This is for my 360 to hook up to live.
What is the longest run I can have?

Bro, you want the Cat 5e. In the past month I have bought two 100 ft white Cat 5e from Monoprice and two 50ft white Cat 5e from Monoprice so that I can run wire down from the the router upstairs to the 360 and the Directv HR20 downstairs. Cables work well. Much, much cheaper than Comp Usa or any other place I looked. I bought two of these as well Inline Coupler Cat 5e Jack White (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=105&cp_id=10519&cs_id=1051902&p_id=1072&seq=1&format=2&style=) so that I could connect the 100 ft cables to 50ft cables.

I see the Cat 5e is 350mhz, and the Cat 6 is 500mhz.
Does it matter which one for the 360?
Is one supposed to be faster for gaming?

The maximum run for cat5e and cat6 is about 300 feet. The higher mhz rating on cat6 is optimized for Gigabit and faster over copper. You do not need this for the Xbox, as it is only running 100meg. Either will work exactly the same for the xbox.

Get a Cat5E and keep your run to less than 328 feet.

Is there a difference in the monoprice cables that are for xbox and non xobx ones?
I assume they are all the same

They are all the same except for the "system link" cables. Those are crossover cables and will not work for connecting your xbox to your router.
