OK, a friend of mine is selling me one of these pretty cheap. It's got a 300GB HD and a bunch of other stuff. There's not much info out there on the web about it. I couldn't even find anything about it on the Samsung site.

What exactly can I do with it? It would be great if I can hook it up to my SA 8300 DVR, but I don't think you can use the USB on it (correct me if I'm wrong).

I have Cablevision in NJ.
