Hey everyone, just trying to decide which projector I should pick up. I am still a nice ways away from needing it, but I thought i should pick one up to make sure it works in my room. Is that the right process? Or wait until I am ready?

Well my 2 options are the Panasonic PT-AX100 and the Sony VPLHS60. I can get them for close to the same price through 2 of my friends.

Any opinions?

Most people say to wait until you need it as the technology is increasing so quickly, and the prices are dropping so quickly.
Unless you can't construct your room without it I would wait. It could be the difference between 720p and 1080p!!!

i just want to make sure it will fit where i want it to go and actually project the size I want.

Thats really the only reason.

Forget 720! Go for 1080 due to price drops. 720 won't last long with the technology changing.
