Hello, I searches the forums but didn't seem to find a match for this.

I am wonder if anyone is having success with QAM tuned HDTV (locals) over Adelphia/Comcast in Canton/Cumming GA?

I would like to buy a HDTV and want to make sure I get one with a QAM tuner if I can indeed receive HDTV locals over basic cable.

I do not have a cable provided set top box nor any of the premuim packages. just bacic cable.

From what I understand, this (HD locals unencrypted) should be provided for my setup but maybe adelphia/comcast dropped the ball or the singal is crappy.

also, if someone does have this working, can I ask a few more Qs?
like channels and thier numbers?
