Hi im looking for a good sounding set of speakers for a full size chevy Blazer it has 3.5" front & 4x10" rear is there any speakers that sound good in this size the stereo is the stock one with the stock EQ thanks for any input

If it was me I would cut out a mdf baffle to mount in place of the 4x10's. So you can mount some 4 1/2's in their location. There is a much greater selection of 4 1/2's compared to the 4x10's.

Unfortunalty this is a very unpopular size. The only company that I know of that makes both sizes is Kenwood. Are they any good? Well no, not really.

I have seen some Infinity 3.5" that sound like 4" from other brands, however they can be hard to install due to the larger magnet and the tall surround used in the +1 design. I would match then up with a 4x6 and a sub for sound quality.

Just go to a store and listen, but if you are paying for then to be installed, be prepared to pay a little more if you are going to change the size.

If you want to stick with stock locations Kenwood still has a decent 4X10 and they have plate to allow a 4" in the dash. The alpine's are pretty bullit proof.
