For some reason, the search function never seems to give me what I'm looking for. I know this has been asked before and I remember a thread or two about it but im looking for a piece, sorta a gromet type thing which you run cables through drywall so you have a nice clean look rather than a jagged hole in your drywall with wires stickin out.

Sorta looks like this wormhole here, cut in half if I remember right...

Oh ya, what I was hoping for is that I could find the part locally (i.e. home depot, Radio Shack, Fry's, etc) instead of having to buy it online.

Don't know if this helps, but I used to run a couple of stainless steel wires through my ceiling that raised and lowered a screen protector. Because I was using wire that would perhaps rub through plastic over time, I found a couple of very nice bronze gunal(sp) bushings at a local marine supply store. They had about a 1/2" diam. channel but there are much larger versions. They polish up very nicely and stay that way with a couple coats of poly.

That part of the theater is no more but now I am using them to run the speaker cable through the ceiling for the two rear channel spkrs in my 7.1 system. Kinda pricy but slick. Another source for architecutral gromets is Doug Mockett Inc. (http://www.mockett.com) Wood, metal, plastic gromets, you name it.
