Good news for us myth users on the fence. Long live fair use!
Bad news or good news for the format war ?

No news.
This just means that current movies can be played, not that future movies or even new pressings of current movies can be.
What we need to make AACS encumbered movies non-worthless is to get a reliable oracle set up that will decrypt the title key for any given movie, but without compromising the player key it uses to do so.
Otherwise the AACS overlords will simply revoke the player key used by the oracle and we will be back to square one.
See this excellent series of articles about AACS for details: http://www.freedom-to-tinker.com/?cat=40
