I just hooked my my new Sharp Aquos 32" LCD D43U and it looks pretty damn good. HD channels look excellent and MLB 2K7 looks amazing via component (I've used SD for past 25 years so I'm easily impressed). However, I seem to be having a problem with Oblivion. It looks fuzzy and less than HD. The main menu screen is very grainy and fuzzy and obviously not HD. The 360 is set at 720p and the TV input says 720p as well. I've checked all of the connections and everything seems normal. Any ideas? Thanks.

Do other 360 games look as bad as Oblivion? Maybe its just a connection. Try other games and see.

Does the dashboard look low resolution too? How about at 1080i?
Did you move the little switch to "HDTV" on the output cable?

That is the wierd thing. The dashboard is crystal clear 720p, and other games look great (NBA Street Homecourt and MLB 2K7 all I've tried so far). Also downloaded the Shrek trailer and it looks amazing. I also tried 1080i to no avail. Oblivion just seems to look worse. I thought my eyes were just playing tricks on me after looking at the screen too long, but when I looked at it this morning, still looks grainy and noisy (especially the main menu screen).
