I was looking on e-bay for popcorn machines. I came across quite a few from some liquidation site. It listed machines for sub $100, are these worth it or should I spend more?
I'm not sure what features I need. There is usually only my wife and I so quantity isn't really an issue. I'm not really into looks so nostalgia isn't a concern either. I just want popcorn that tastes better than the theater. Could someone please help me.

If your talking the 4 oz popcorn machine and cart, it is the same one sold at sams and costco. I have it and love it. I think you may be able to find them still at both places for a reduced price. Better to buy from either of them than from E-Bay (better return policies). You can use 6oz prepacks in them just fine.

The only features I have heard that are really good to have is a warming tray. The tray dries out the popcorn so it is not soggy and also keeps it hot.

I didn't see one for less than $100 at Sam's Club.

The one at Sam's Club is 199, but it's the same thing as the ebay 100 machines, but you have the return policy, which you will probably need for this machine.
