Another rumor in the latest xbox magazine is that Crimson Skies II is in the works for the 360. They state that the development team for the original crimson skies has all but been put back together and that on their web site, under a section about in development, are screen shots of a game that looks just like screen shots of a crimson sky like game.
If true, sweet! This was one of the best games on the 360 and was totally underappreciated. A sleeper hit. Really enjoyed it.

I still play it too, but the FASA guys are busy with Shadowrun and the only thing on their (the Shadowrun) site is in their forum with folks wishing for a Crimson Skies 360 style.

Yeah it was a fantastic game. Also you can play it on 360 now.
A couple weeks ago the 1up guys had Fasa studios on their podcast -- doesn't sound like they're actively working on Crimson Skies II, though they may have done some concept stuff. The guy from Fasa said that for now they're working on Shadowrun, and if Shadowrun is well received a Shadowrun RPG could be next... we'll see i guess.

Xbox magazine referred to the companies web site, not really any shown screenshots nor the site address.

You know I played that damn game ten times over from easiest to hardest and no matter how often or how good I got I could never get past one of the three challenges part - I'd always get two but the damn one where you had to follow the Indian through the canyon as he looped I could never finish - enjoyed the hell out of the game but have never gotten beyond that point.
I'd still buy a sequel despite that frustration. So many lame games and few choices presently.

Hahaha. Yes I know someone else who stopped playing at that same part. As for me, I played that part over and over again. When I finally beat it I have no idea how I did it since I was actually paying more attention to a football game that was on my secondary TV as I played it. It guess I used the force. It was very zen. From there on out I had great fear my save would become corrupt.
The rest of the game especially the final battle could be pretty crazy with all the enemies. I eventually went into god mode just to see how it ended. If only god mode could get you past that part your stuck on....

Played the platinum hit on the 360 for the first time, at the beginning of this year. Really liked it, and would definitely get II.
