I really want to support you by allowing your advertisers to show their ads in my browser. But I cannot stand the blinking, scrolling, or the constantly changing stuff. Even your 'Click here' changes too often. They actually give me head aches. It is mighty easy for me to turn all of your ads off, but that sort of defeats the purpose of having any ads on your site, doesn't it?

I'd like to suggest you make it a standard not to allow animated ads that change more than once every few minutes. I'd bet you that the people most likely to buy from your advertisers are the ones who are also the most likely to turn off those annoying animations. So why not do all of us a favor (those who advertise by annoying us and those who do not) and stop the blinking.

I am sorry, but asking sponsors not to use ads that do not move would result in very few ads and the shut down of this site. We need the sponsors to keep the site running and sponsors use animated ads and Flash ads. Sorry, this simply can not happen.

You have been on the site for years and we have always had them. Become a AVS Club member and the ads on the right side will go away for you. That is a way to support the site.

there was one add on this site a long time ago that got removed in a hurry. it was one of those quick flashing black and white and grenn orange things. I did inform the site to remove the add from avs due to it possibly causing me to have a seizure. they removed it pronto. But i didnt know where to thank anyone for that. I really didnt want them to remove the ad but only wanted them to stop the flashing.
You all probably had something to do with it. so i guess here is the place to say thank you.
