Hey everyone, I got a couple problems with my ps3 and my system. I just bought a Pioneer Pro-fhd1, and an Integra DTR 7.6 reciever. I am running the ps3 through the reciever through hdmi into the reciever and then everything through hdmi out of the reciever. My issue is that I have been noticeing problems such as white blocks and flashes going across the screen while I am watching movies on bluray dvd during certain parts. It happenes every now and then, and I am trying to see if any of you may think it is the fact that I have it running through the reciever, and maybe the reciever is having problems processing the 1080p signal. I had problems with sound through the hdmi where it was giving background noise, so I am only running the picture through HDMI and the audio through an optical cord, which eliminated the background noise problems. Let me know if any of you have any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you may have a bad HDMI cable, its rare, but happens. Only way to make sure it isn't your receiver is to plug the PS3 straight to the TV. The white blocks are known as macroblocking and sometimes that is a problem with the TV. So it really could either be the way your TV processes the info or bad HDMI cable. As the FHD1 is top of the line and I haven't heard too many bad things about it I would definately try another cable, especially since you were getting some feedback from the audio portion of it.
