:D :confused: THE OFFICIAL PIONEER PDP-5070I am trying to figure out what settings are needed to help my tv perform the best. I need everything on pioneer . since i have come to my decision i have thought about some accessories. any suggestions. My choice came about after a series of trips to stores and your comments. i thank you greatly. if you have any advice on how to set up my tv send me a private message or a thread response.

Thanks for the new thread. I like it because, in the examples listed above, the:

first link has over 3200 replies
second link has over 1100 replies
third link has over 3800 replies

That's too f'ing long to search for a simple answer, so i'm glad the new thread is started. It's easier to have a thread dedicated to tweaking the 5070 and get others opinions. It will eventually stray, as all other threads do, away from the topic and become a general discussion thread. So to ensure i don't start that, here are my settings:

Contrast=50
brightness=+6
color=0
tint=0
sharpness=+12
pure cinema=ADV
color temp=high
cti=on

It's takes enough time to help people out in the 5070 thread, we don't need another one. Believe me, yet another thread will not help. And you admit it will stray!
