i am in canada so selection is limited, i can't get the great deals that i see online because companies won't ship up here and if they do it costs was to much.

so right now i am looking at a Panasonic TH-50PX60U or Samsung HPS5033 or HP-S5073

the Samsung HP-S5033 is $350 cheaper than the other two


i am not worried about audio because i will be running the sound into my onkyo receiver

these plasmas are at two different stores and neither store has both, so comparing them next to each other is out.

is there much difference between the two PQ for SD and for HD?

i will be watching some SD so that is important

also the black levels - is there a noteable difference?

Both sets are at my Sams clubs, but not both at the same one :( The Samsung is about 400.00 cheaper and I do like the Black case
