I have a sony pearl, and when I start it I sometimes see a green tint on the screen for a while, but it eventually goes away after a couple of minutes. Is this normal and do most projectors take a second to warm up or have weird colors while their doing so.

I can only relate this to my Sony 55A2000. It does have both a slight green and pinkish tint at startup. Most noticable in gray areas. It pretty much goes away after about 30 minutes of
operation. Pretty sure Sony considers this condition *normal*. Though even after warm-up I can sometimes still see the slightest tint in certain gray areas of scenes. But, I am very sensitive to this so am looking for it. I believe it's very common to varying degrees in the Sony's. I so like the overall picture very much though. Hope this helps.

My Pearl does not have any colour shift at start-up. Having said that, I believe the image is a tad less bright during the first few minutes.
