I'm looking real close to buying the JVC 56FH97 and was hoping to get some feedback of owners of this model to see what they like about it as well dislikes. I plan on putting this is a room where the viewing will be 8 - 12 feet away. Any opionion and suggested are welcome

quick answer-8-12 IMO is just about perfect viewing distance. I'm about 8 ft from my 56FN97 & quite happy with it.

only issue I have is fan noise but it doesn't bother me that much.
