I just returned from vacation to find that my Samsung 5078W has been stolen . I'm presuming home owners insurace will cover it, but I'm wondering what to replace it with. Given that the TV was stolen, I really haven't been the in market for a new TV, and thus I'm not up on the current sets available. I was thinking about the 2007 Samsungs (HLT?), but I've also been hearing good things about Sony Bravia's lately.

What models should I be looking at?

Thanks!

Sorry to have to commiserate with you, but my HLN-507W was stolen this month. I would like to stick with the same thing so I'm leaning towards replacing it with an HLS-5087W. If I were to file an insurance claim (not as obvious as it may seem in this case), a new LED version would tempt me, but the current price on the old lamp version is pretty tough to resist, and I'm quickly tiring of using a 20" CRT in the interim so action may be needed :).
