Does anyone have a line on a replacement screen for a 51f59?

Center channel fell off the shelf and put a 3-4 inch crack in the screen. I have taken the screen off before to clean the optics so I am confident I could do the replacement.

So if anyone has any info (average price, where to find) I'd be obliged.
I do have a repairmaster warrenty, although I seriously doubt this would be covered.

this company will force you to by their book, but gives you sources for replscement screens or sources for the materials to make your own.

I do know that the 51's have 2 part numbers listed in the s.m. for the screen assy.

HIT got back to me today and put me in touch with a semi-local parts distro. $280 and they are a 2 + hour drive away or $70-$80 shipping. The OEM screen assembly has been on B/O since before thanksgiving so it is moot point anyway.

I am going to pop the screen off tonight and see if I can't try to spruce things up a little. I don't want to spend that kind of dough on this set, I guess thinking $150ish was unreasonable.

Does the Hitachi have both the Lenticular Screen and the Fresnel screen?

If so, are then against each other? I ask becasue if I have a 5 inch tear in the Lent screen, then then FRES screen is probably ripped as well.

Any thoughts?

Yes they do. Tear is definitely on both if the opening goes all the way thru.
