I just didn't which of there screens would go best with it... i'll be sitting 10-14 ft from a 100 inch dia screen... the projector is going in my basement so it will be easy to control light although i'd like to have some light on when i'm watching HDTV sports... thanks...

if you have dark walls and total light control, I would go with a 1.3 gain screen. If are going to table mount the projector you may want to look a the HP, which has a 2.8 gain and will lite up your picture
i think i'll mount it on the ceiling or back wall... there is only two windows but they are covered pretty well... the walls are all white but i've been thinking of painting them... which model of the Cinema Contour would you go with???
are the gray high contrast alright??? or just the plain cinema visions???

If you are light controlled you shouldnt need grey, the JVC has good CR. I personally hate hi gain screens and find them unwatchable, unity gain for me. As to Da-Lite... always found them to be first rate. I have 2 Contour screens...top notch. Their site gives great detail on the materials so have a good look.

My room is total light control with very dark gray walls with RS1 17' from screen on shelf about 2 feet above head height, screen will be 92x52, anamorphic lens for 2.35 material will expand picture to 122", would there be any reason to choose a 1.3studiotek over a 1.5 ultramatte in this arrangement, I coming from an 8"CRT so I'd like to maximize the black level of the RS1, if possible.
