Im currently moving and dont have room for my HL-S6187W. Its still new in the box, but out of return period. Go figure. Anyone know places to sell these tv's w/o a huge loss? Id like to get $1700 obo + Shipping or local pickup in FL, but I dont know where to advertise it. Any ideas?

local newspaper, ebay gives you lots of viewing and sales opportunites, craigslist for local website ads. pony up the dough for a avsforum membership and put it in the for sale section here too.

I sold my old CRT RPTV through eBay as a local pickup. I had to continue the listing a couple of times before someone finally buying it - but it was a non-HD 4X3 set.

I just sold my CRT RP HDTV locally through a site similar to Craig's list. There were over 10 listed for sale on Craig's list, and about the same on the other site I used. Seems a lot of people are upgrading these days!

Donate it to charity or give it to a relative...

If you don't have room in the moving truck, you can ship it to your new address via common carrier, such as fedex ground, UPS, etc.
If you don't have room for it in your new place, you could also advertise it as a trade. I'm sure some AV guy would love to trade a smaller similar set for a larger one.
