I'm stuck between these two sets, any opinion is appreciated. I've been a plasma guy through and through, although I still have an HDX82 Toshiba CRT that is ISF calibrated and gives an excellent picture. I currently have a Pioneer Elite 1130 as well and love it.

I'm thinking about both of the sets in the title and I'm concerened about:

- The room where this is going has a lot of ambient light and I really don't want a 60" Pioneer mirror in there.

- Does the Mitsubishi have the same projection viewing angle problems I'm accustomed to with CRT?

- How are the black levels comparitive to both?

- I keep reading about people getting extruciating headaches from viewing the Mitsubishi. Is there any validity to this?

I'm going to go with what my eyes tell me and get either one ISF calibrated, but just looking for any good thoughts. Thanks.

I'm also posting this in the plasma area.

you've got a pio plasma and love it so it should be easy to choose another one especially the 6070 which is a great plasma, large size and excellent PQ.
you can do some room lighting control, i've seen lots of glare off mits glass too if the situation is bad with lighting, but i've never gotten headaches watching any of them. Best to watch the mits straight on as possible.
go with the pio, it will give you great pic and no worrying about lamp life either.
