I have a toshiba 56hm195 tv and have a problem. When i turn the lamp to low power instead of high bright there is noticeable noise in the picture. Even with the lamp on high bright there is still noise, or screen flickering lately. I have tried disconnecting everything (xbox 360, direct tv hr20) and it still wont go away. do i need a replacement bulb? anyone with any help please reply it would be much appreciated. i have had the tv almost a year. thanks

I had the same problem... lucky for me I noticed it a month after I got the TV.

Sure enough, it was the bulb.

I called Toshiba right away, and they shipped me a new bulb, and it fixed the problem.

Change it... they aren't that expensive any more... (used to be though! prices have come down quite a bit - all you have to do is search online for an authorized distributor and you can get them cheap now a days).

Hope you figured this out by now, but thought I'd put this out there just in case.
