Alright, so my girlfriend is a student teacher and she wants to get a projector for her class. I guess the school only has one or two and the science people always get them (she is an Italian teacher). So she wants to get one so she can have it at all times.

Now I was looking online, but I know NOTHING about projectors. She doesn't want to spend more than $300 on one and it would be great if it was a VGA one because she has a Mac and I can only really find an VGA apapter, even though a DVI/HDMI one would work too.

Any advice? Thanks in advance.

$300 is a bit on the extreme low end, unless you're matching her dollar for dollar.
I think she should have more luck at twice that budget though.

Yeah, I found a Infocus for $500. The cheapest I could find.
