If anyone knows of brand names or would post a link to a peice of equipment to get me better PQ from SD. I only need one input it can be composite, s video, or, component. Anthing lower than $1000. What is the cheapest one on the market?

I am planning on getting a Pioneer VSX-84TXSi 7.1 A/V Receiver processor. The only trouble is they won't be available here in the U.S. until early May. They should sell for around $1,050 from Amazon and others. It puts out 140 watts on each of the seven channels and comes with two remotes and a microphone to equalize and balance your speakers.

I believe you can check it out on Pioneers web site and view the instruction manuel. I did several weeks ago. I'm still needing to install my surround and rear speakers and get the HDTV which is en route from Texas by Amazon so waiting another month or so for the processor won't be too bad.
