Has anyone seen this effect? With an Arcam DV137 connected to a Pearl via HDMI the image is hugely purple & green , but works fine with component input.

HDMI software/compatability issues?

Any clues much appreciated.

Could it be the color space setting for the HDMI? I wouldn't think it would make a difference, but something to try.

Jason - thanks for your input. Turns out the prob was related to the order of turn on! When DVD was plugged into running PJ it wouldn't "synch". When PJ was off it did OK. Interestingly the "auto" setting on the Arcam set the video to 1080i, when the Sony will support 1080p
